NetCell IT has been building native Linux server software for hosting providers, agencies and the SMB market for over 20 years. NetCell MailGuard is part of our product family — an upstream email security gateway built on the same principles as our sister product enconf: lean, cloud-free, GDPR-compliant by architecture.
What drives us
Most email security solutions today are SaaS offerings that route every attachment and every header through somebody else's cloud. For many use cases that's fine — for lawyers, tax advisers, public authorities, hospitals and everyone working under strict GDPR oversight, it isn't. We build NetCell MailGuard for exactly that audience: every detection layer on your own servers, no data export, no cloud lock-in, traceable logs.
A note on architecture
We don't like Java, we don't like Docker-Compose bingo, we don't like Kubernetes for a 5-server cluster. NetCell MailGuard is a native Linux service built on established open-source components. No RAM hogs, no reboot loops after updates, no mystery errors from 47 container layers. Ops teams can reason about the system without spelunking through proprietary black-box engines.
